Verse 4 of Psalm 103 says, “who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy.”

I don’t know what brought you here. I don’t know what burdens you carry, what losses you’ve endured, or what questions you wrestle with. And honestly, we’re not here to argue with you, change you, plead with you, or convert you. We simply want to offer hope—the hope that there is more beyond the pain, more beyond the heartbreak, and more to this life than what suffering would have us believe.

There was a time when my own life felt like it was in a pit. Truthfully, it felt worse than a pit. It felt like a relentless pounding downward, as though I were being crushed beneath the weight of grief, fear, and despair. Day after day, I wondered if I would ever see the light again.

That is one of the reasons we love the Psalms so deeply. The psalmists do not hide their pain. Their devastation is real. Their questions are real. Their cries are honest and unfiltered. They pour out their hearts before God without pretending everything is fine.

We find great comfort in that.

The Psalms remind us that it is okay to hurt. It is okay to grieve. It is okay to wrestle with suffering and loss. Everyone experiences hardship. Everyone encounters seasons of heartbreak and devastation. We are not unique in that, and neither are you. We are all walking through this life together, carrying burdens that only God fully understands.

That is the heart behind My Steadfast Love.

We are not experts. We are not perfect. We are simply those who have known pain and devastation and who have also experienced the hope that carries us through it. God redeemed our lives from the pit and crowned us with His steadfast love and mercy. We cannot say it more beautifully than Scripture already has.

Our desire is that this would be a place of encouragement for anyone walking through grief, betrayal, loss, suffering, or simply the weight of life itself. Through personal stories, reflections, resources, and honest conversations about faith, our prayer is that you would find reminders of God’s goodness even in the darkest seasons.

More than anything, we hope you will come to know for yourself the steadfast love and mercy of God. We hope you will taste and see His goodness. We hope you will discover that even in the deepest pit, His grace is deeper still.
